Physician Assistants (PAs) are healthcare professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. Physician Assistants are educated in intensive three-year Post Graduate medical programs after receiving a Bachelor Degree. Because of the close working relationship PAs have with physicians, they are educated in a medical model designed to complement physician training.
